Life in COVID-time E. Hanssen
Well….. today (may 3rd, 2020) was a quiet day. Got up at 7 in the morning. I made some mailart to send to Italy. Read The Plague’s last chapter. So that book is off the bucketlist now. Afterwards played some acoustic and had lunch. A walk in the woods for about two hours, followed by some grocerie shopping and sending the mailart to Italy. Made chickensoup with orange paprika and curcuma. Had a read on Twitter, especially the lovely ones by that orangefaced toddler who’s diper seems to be in need of changing every couple of minutes (no, I won’t mention Trumps name…). Tonight Netflix will be riding the high tide again
May 5
Tomorrow the Netherlands will remember liberation and the ones who died, for 75 years ago we were liberated from Nazi-Germany. It will be quiet in the streets. The day after the Liberationparty should be held in several cities around our country. Not this year due to corona. So another couple of quiet days ahead, just as the ones past since 13 march and for sure untill at least june first. Who knows how long this will last, but I must admit: I am enjoying myself for I love the quietness. Still not bored at all!
I wish everybody to be and stay safe. The ones who have COVID-19: I wish you a speedy and full recovery. To you, Lonna, I wish you the best of luck in these times and also the very best with your mailartproject. Maybe you wanna join in on one of mine, like Mass Mail Art Shooter(about shootings in US and the rest of the world)? Have a look at www.projectmailartbooks.com (website and FBgroup).
